The building occupies a vacant plot on a street with a continuous frontage. Its volumetric configuration responds to the neighboring buildings, attempting to reconcile their differing heights and depths. As a result, the lower floors gain depth and take on a sculpted form, alternately creating interior and exterior spaces. The upper floors lose volume, forming terraces that extend the interior spaces. The 19 flats are designed in a simple manner. The sleeping areas are clearly defined. The common spaces are conceived as a continuous space, although the articulation of the walls suggests different areas of occupation. The building is clad in a ceramic covering designed specifically for this project, featuring an asymmetrical relief that gives the façades different textures through the simple incidence of light.

O edifício ocupa um lote expectante numa rua com frente contínua. A sua configuração volumétrica reage aos edifícios vizinhos, tentando colmatar as diferentes alturas e profundidades. Como resultado, os primeiros pisos ganham profundidade e desenham-se de forma recortada, criando alternadamente espaços interiores e espaços exteriores. Os últimos pisos perdem volume, desenhando terraços que prolongam os espaços interiores. Os 19 apartamentos desenham-se de forma simples. Os espaços de dormir apresentam-se claramente definidos. Os espaços comuns desenham-se como um espaço contínuo, ainda que o recorte das paredes sugira diferentes lugares de ocupação. O edifício veste-se com um revestimento cerâmico desenhado para este projeto, com um alto-relevo assimétrico, conferindo às fachadas diferentes texturas através da simples incidência da luz.
